Embrace the energy and empowerment as we celebrate the first anniversary of our membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., under the vibrant theme “The Triple D: Deltas Devastating Dallas.” This theme captures the essence of our presence in the heart of Dallas – a city known for its dynamic spirit, just like our sorority sisters.
This theme not only incorporates the location (Dallas) in a catchy and memorable way, but it also emphasizes the strength and impact of the Delta Sigma Theta members (with the word “Devastating”). It’s a powerful, energetic title that conveys excitement and a strong presence in the city, aligning well with the celebratory and impactful nature of a first Deltaversary event.

Community Service Project Update!
Delta Diaper Dash: Making a Difference for East Texas &
The Family of Soror Tywanna Miller (#16 - deteRminED)
(Participation Optional)
As we celebrate our first year of sisterhood, we’re excited to embark on a community service project that will make a real difference in the lives of many families, and own very own Soror Tywanna Miller’s family. We cordially invite each of you to join our Diaper Dash Diaper Drive in support of the East Texas Crisis Center and Soror Tywanna Miller. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community, baby Averi, and make a significant impact in the lives of those in need.
From April 7, 2024, to April 23, 2024, we will be collecting diapers of all sizes (1 through 6) for boys, girls, or gender-neutral. Soror Timikia Miller has advised that baby Averi will need size 5 in diapers (or higher to allow growth). So, we want to capture all sizes, with a “special eye” on sizes 5-6.
To make the shopping experience easy, we have created an Amazon link to direct donors to purchase diapers (all prices, all sizes and even other accessories if desired). Yes, it is a diaper drive but what baby/family couldn’t use more!
Please know this is an optional event and we appreciate those who are able to participate.
This will be a moment to come together, celebrate our collective efforts, and prepare for the delivery of our contributions on April 26-27, 2024.

We’ll be exploring the many attractions, restaurants and venues within a short distance from this North Dallas hotel on Spring Valley Road. It is in a great location to enjoy world-class shopping and dining in Addison. The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi and a full breakfast buffet as well as many other amenities.

As we come together for the captivating “Crimson Clicks: 29 Levels of Resilience Deltaversary Photo Shoot,” we invite you to dress in a way that reflects the elegance and unity of our sisterhood. For this special occasion, please adorn yourselves in dressy attire suitable for a gala setting. Pants are absolutely welcome if you prefer them over dresses.
The color theme for our attire is True Red, a vibrant hue that symbolizes the strength and passion of our sisterhood. This color choice will create a striking visual impact in our group photo, showcasing our unity and collective spirit.
For footwear, we suggest either clear “glass slipper” style shoes or classic black, adding a touch of sophistication and grace to your ensemble. Complement your attire with jewelry in pearls, diamond, gold, platinum, or silver to add a touch of elegance and shine.

Is it too late to join?
No, you still have time to join. Please ensure to reach out to Soror Reed to secure your hotel accommodations. Additionally, reach out to Soror Mason to advise you are attending as well. This will ensure that you receive all the information and “goodies” we have in store for you.
Am I required to participate in all the events?
Sorors, though we hope you are able to attend all the events, we understand that there may be instances were you cannot attend. We welcome and would truly love to see you at all of the events!
I need a roommate, what should I do?
Please reach out to Soror Reed to discover what other Soror is needing a roommate.
I opted for a private photo session, how do I schedule it?
In the coming weeks, we will be reaching out to Sorors to provide the time of your private session.
Is it too late to schedule, or change my response for a private photo session?
No, it is not too late. However, please reach out to Soror Reed before 3/1/2024.
What is the attire for the photo shoot?
Attire: Dressy (i.e. suitable for gala – pants are welcome)
Attire Color: True Red (only)
Shoes: Clear (i.e. glass slipper) or Black
Jewelry: Diamond, Gold, Platinum or Silver
I am participating in the Spa Day on 4/12/24. When and how do I register for my Spa Services?
We highly recommend you register for your free online account and pick your services right away to guarantee your options are available here.
Note: The entry fee will not be due until arrival; however, any services chosen will be at the time of selection.
Is there a deposit for my hotel accommodations?
No, we have secured a room block; therefore, no deposit is due for your hotel accommodations at this time. However, ensure you have communicated your date of arrival to Soror Reed.
As it stands, we have Sorors arriving on 04/11/24 & 04/12/24. All will check out from the hotel on 04/14/24. If you are not certain, contact Soror Reed as soon as possible.
It is important that we have the correct information for everyone, as it affects our room rate.

When are my payment(s) due?
Though we wish everyone could pay in full right away, we definitely understand the importance of budgeting. In saying such, you are able to pay in full by 2/4/2024 or you may opt to pay half of the deposit on 2/4/2024 and the remainder on 3/3/2024.

What is the $225.00 deposit for?
The $225.00 deposit will cover your entry into the Sip & Paint event, your entry D.L. Hughley Comedy Show on Saturday night, your fee for the group photo session, the Game Night & Bonding event, and some special “extras” we have for you! Due to the events being booked for a group, the deposit is non-refundable.
If I am not attending all the events, do I still have to pay the $225.00?
No. Please refer to the “Payments” section to see the events that the $225.00 fee will cover. You may also refer to the Deltaversary voting form to review pricing and information for the events. If any questions, please feel free to reach out Soror Mason or Soror Reed.
What pre-paid events are nonrefundable?
The following pre-paid events are non-refundable once payment submitted:
- Crimson Creations: Paint After Hours with In Living Colour Studio
- Giggles and Grins: 29 Levels of Resilience Night at the Addison Improv
- Sisterly Scores: 29 Levels of Resilience Deltaversary Game Night
- Fees associated purchased gift(s) for each Soror (you will receive the items purchased)

Will I receive a detailed itinerary?
If you would like a digital copy of the itinerary, please reach out to Soror Reed. Otherwise, we will ensure to update this page.
How will I reserve my hotel accommodations?
Check your email! On 3/1/24, you were sent out an email to confirm your room type (Double or King), arrival/departure date, and roommate(s) from help@xtremedestinationz.com. All payments for event are due 3/10/2024. The final room list will be submitted to the hotel on 3/11/2024.
Upon arrival to the hotel, simply provide the name of our group (29 L.O.R. Deltaversary) and your first and last name. The representative will proceed to check you in as needed. All payments for your hotel stay must be paid directly to the hotel. Please ensure to have a credit card available for incidentals.
